The Legends of the Guardians the Owls of Ga'hoole
Recently I have been reading a 3-in-one book. So far I'm on the 3rd book and I'm really enjoying it so I thought I would do a book review. The main character is Soren, a barn owl, who fell from his nest... or so he thought. Then he got snatched by St. Aggies. But he managed to escape with the help of his friend Gylfie. He made new friends on his search for the tree on the island in the middle of Hoolemere. What will happen next!?

My Duckling!
At home we have a baby duckling! Her name is 'Bronze'. We found her at a beach clean up abandoned by her mum and she was ice-cold. We gave her a warm place to sleep and now she's a part of our family. Here's some pictures of her! Isn't she cute?! I learnt that ducklings are VERY messy eaters.

My Digital Time Table
In class we are learning to use a digital time table. The time table tells me what to do when. It tells me what work shops to go to when. We fill in the workshops by opening the google spreadsheets that our teacher sent to our Gmail.
We then fill this information into our time table we access from our learning hub. After all this we fill in the blanks with what else we want to do that week like work on maths. work on writing, quick write and much more. The time table helps me to stay on track and know what I need to do when.
The time table is a learning tool and one of the most useful ones we have in our class at this point in time. We have been using it for three weeks now and we LOVE it. It makes learning SO much easier and we like it because we get a say in what we get to do that week.
It's just so useful. I find it easier to understand what we have to do that week. It's better than the teacher coming up to you and saying, DO THIS NOW! I find that I get more work done in a time period of time that's good for me.
Me and my ENTIRE class thinks the time table is a good learning tool for ALL of us. BUT on fridays we have an entire day of art and finishing off what we have to do, friday is not on the time table that's the one day that we do what the teacher wants us to do. I think that everyone in our classes thinks that the time table is better for our learning and that if you were in our class you would benefit from it to.
